Event Lodging
The Winter All American Games is a Stay-to-Play event.  USSSA and Anthony Travel have worked hard to contract rates lower than the best flexible rates that are advertised on the hotel’s websites. Booking with Anthony Travel provides multiple protections and benefits as indicated below:
  • 24 Hour Assistance During Tournament Dates
  • Room Type Guarantee – if hotel is unable to honor your reservation as booked they are responsible for covering your stay
  • Oversold Protection – if hotel is oversold, they cannot move Anthony Travel guests
  • Tournament Cancellation Protection – if the entire tournament is cancelled, your reservation is automatically cancelled with no penalty regardless of the timeline
  • Price Protection – our rate has to be lower than the hotel website’s best flexible rate
  • https://www.anthonytravel.com/event-benefits/
Inventory is normally contracted for the event dates. If you are looking for a room outside of the event dates, all hotels will most likely show as sold out. We recommend you book for the event dates as that will show what hotels are available and request the remaining dates that you would want to add to your reservation that are outside of the event dates. If you have any questions or need any assistance in booking, please reach out to our team via phone 855-501-7114 or email [email protected]

About

Want to get on the field and showcase your talents with players from across the country?

Want to spend a week in sunny Florida while the rest of the county is freezing?

Then this is the program for you!

Don’t miss out on the USSSA Winter All American Games December 27th-31st in beautiful Viera, Florida.

The USSSA All American Program was created in 2015 to increase individual opportunities for Fastpitch and Baseball players to showcase their skills and represent their regional  area in a National event.

The value of the All American Program resides in the individual athlete experience. Not only will participating athletes interact with players from across the county, but they will gain experience in performing under the pressures of a tryout/evaluation setting, something that will help prepare them for the future.  This truly is a one of a kind experience!

 Evaluations

On the first day of the USSSA Winter All American Games, participants will have their skills evaluated by top athletes and coaches.  This is an excellent opportunity to have our scouts compare your skill set to that of other players your age from across the country.  Plus, the key data from your evaluation will be posted on your player profile page on usssa.com.  Know more about your strengths and what areas you may need to work on!

These evaluations will allow each athlete an equal opportunity to showcase their skills in the following categories.  Participants will be evaluated on their primary and secondary position only:

  • Hitting
  • Throwing
  • Fielding
  • Pitching
  • Catching
  • Athletic Testing

ALL AMERICAN GAMES REGISTRATION

Participation in the USSSA Winter All American Games will be $300 for Early Bird Registration (Registration fee will increase to $350 on November 1st).  The games will include two team jerseys and a 5 game guarantee (weather permitting).  Participants will also go through a full evaluation experience.  All scores from the tryout will be posted in their guardian account.  For the Winter All American games teams will be combined to 10U, 12U, and 14U age divisions.

Code of Conduct

The goal of the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) is to offer our members a quality product in all aspects of the USSSA Programs. USSSA and is committed to providing athletes the tools and the competitive platform by which they can accomplish their dreams in softball and in life. To this end we are committed to making the 2022 Winter All American Games a positive one, in terms of competitiveness and an overall enjoyable experience for everyone involved and that nothing which occurs during the operation of these games reflects negatively toward the USSSA, and the All American Program.

  • Parents and athletes will maintain high standards of moral and ethical conduct that includes self-control and responsible behavior. Both athletes and parents must display courtesy and good manners and consider the physical and emotional well-being of others.
  • Parents and athletes will not swear, use abusive language or display disruptive behavior, including behavior that is dangerous to self or others, including acts of violence, harassment, and physical or sexual abuse.
  • Parents and players will respect the officials, coaches and event staff and their authority during the All American Games.
At no point will parents be allowed to confront coaches without the presence of a tournament director at a designated time and location away from any scheduled game.
  • The head coach will be the sole decision maker in all aspects of the game. He/she will be the only person making the lineups, making changes to the lineup and determining all game management facets. At NO point will the parents have any say in how the game is managed or who is playing in the game.
    • We give our coaches guidelines for creating lineups and doing their best to keep innings as equal as possible however with that being said this is a tournament, and they will be creating lineups to be competitive with winning as a final goal. Coaches are NOT held to any rules on innings played, innings played at primary or secondary positions and or line up rotations.
    • At NO point are parents allowed to approach coaches in an aggressive way for any circumstances.
    • Parents are asked to stay away from the dugout during practices and games unless of an emergency situation or asked for assistance by the head coach.
All head and assistant coaches must clear a USSSA background check.

USSSA and the All American Games has a zero tolerance for non-compliance towards any of these rules. Failure to adhere to these or any other rules and procedures as set forth in an USSSA sanctioned event may result in actions taken against the individual held responsible. Such penalties include reprimands, probation, suspension (game, event, year or multi-year) or permanent expulsion from USSSA sanctioned events.

Things for parents to keep in mind while children are playing:

  • This is a game being played by children
  • If they win or lose every game of this event, it will not impact what college they attend or their future income potential
  • Imagine how you would feel if you saw a parent or coach from the opposing team cheering for your child when they made a great play. Then envision what kind of person you would think they are for doing that. You can be that person
  • Umpires are human and make mistakes, just like players, coaches, and you. No one shouts at you in front of other people when you make a mistake, so please don’t yell at them. We do not have video replay, so, we will go with their calls.
  • The only reason children want to play sports is because it is fun. Please don’t let the behavior of the adults ruin their fun.

FAQ

Please read below to find answers to our most frequently asked questions regarding the USSSA All American Program.

WHAT IS THE USSSA ALL AMERICAN PROGRAM?

The USSSA All American Program was created in 2015 to increase individual opportunities for fastpitch players to showcase their skills and represent their local area in a National event. The All American Program creates an environment where athletes ages 9U to 14U are evaluated by the top athletes and coaches, then compete in a unique tournament.

The All American team format will consist of combining all 6 regions together on every team with each athlete individually representing her region based on her hometown. All athletes within an age division will be pooled together, from there teams will be created equalizing teams based on athlete’s evaluation scores. This new format will help enhance the skill level of each team and make for a more competitive atmosphere. Each player’s actual team will not be announced during the selection show but will be announced closer to the games.

WHAT AGE DO I REGISTER FOR?

By entering the correct birthdate, the participant will automatically be put in the correct age group. For USSSA, age eligibility is determined strictly by birth year. Please visit the following link for the Age Calculator.  For the USSSA Winter All American Games, we will be constructing teams in the age categories of 10U, 12U and 14U.

WHAT POSITIONS CAN I SELECT?

  • Each participant can select two positions ONLY. We will pick the best athletes to fit the needs of each particular team.
  • Once on the team athletes may be asked to play other positions based on the needs of the team. We do this to maximize their playing time while attending the games.

MY DAUGHTER IS A PITCHER, WHO WILL WARM HER UP AND CATCH FOR HER DURING THE EVALUATION?

  • For the pitching evaluations we will use a catcher from the tryout to warm up and catchers and the pitchers. The pitchers and catchers will be evaluated at the same time.

I AM A COACH, CAN MY WHOLE TEAM ATTEND?

  • Yes, however players will not be placed on the same team as all their teammates, we do our best to mix players from all over the region to enhance the experience of the athletes to meet new teammates.

WHAT PITCHING DIMENSIONS AND BALL SIZE WILL BE USED FOR MY DAUGHTER’S AGE GROUP?

  • 9U/10U: 11 inch ball, 35 feet
  • 11U/12U: 12 inch ball, 40 feet
  • 13U/14U: 12 inch ball, 43 feet
